Entre un 50-70 % de nuestro cuerpo se compone de agua y se distribuye de esta manera: Un 75% del cerebro, un 71% del h\u00edgado, un 70% de los m\u00fasculos, un 58% de la piel, un 28% de los huesos y el 23% de la grasa de nuestro cuerpo es agua.<\/p>\n<p>Estos porcentajes van cambiando con la edad, de manera que en el feto un 90% es agua, en el reci\u00e9n nacido, un 80%, en el ni\u00f1o, un 70%, en los adultos de un 60 a un 65% y los ancianos de un 50 a un 55%. Los ni\u00f1os y los ancianos tienen un mayor riesgo de deshidrataci\u00f3n, en este \u00faltimo caso las personas mayores consumen menos agua debido a que tienen una alteraci\u00f3n en el mecanismo de la sed.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1nta agua debemos beber al d\u00eda?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>La recomendaci\u00f3n general es:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\ud83d\udc68 Hombres:\u00a0<strong>2,5 litros diarios<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udc69 Mujeres:\u00a0<strong>2 litros diarios<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u26a0\ufe0f\u00a0<strong>No esperes a tener sed<\/strong>: cuando sentimos sed, ya hemos perdido un 1% de agua corporal, lo que puede afectar el rendimiento f\u00edsico y mental.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-14872-2\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" nutrientes<\/li>\n<li>\ud83c\udf21\ufe0f Regula la temperatura corporal<\/li>\n<li>\u267b\ufe0f Elimina toxinas y desechos<\/li>\n<li>\ud83e\uddbf Lubrica articulaciones y tejidos<\/li>\n<li>\ud83e\uddea Forma parte de l\u00edquidos como saliva, bilis y jugos g\u00e1stricos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Por contra, hay factores que pueden favorecer la deshidrataci\u00f3n, como el ejercicio intenso, la edad, las temperaturas elevadas o la alta humedad, la exposici\u00f3n al sol, enfermedades, estr\u00e9s, algunos f\u00e1rmacos y por supuesto, el exceso de alcohol.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Hidrataci\u00f3n y ejercicio f\u00edsico<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Mantenerse hidratado durante el entrenamiento es esencial para el rendimiento y la recuperaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\ud83d\udd52 Bebe\u00a0<strong>150-250 ml de agua cada 20 minutos<\/strong>\u00a0durante el ejercicio leve o moderado<\/li>\n<li>\u2744\ufe0f La temperatura ideal del agua:\u00a0<strong>10-15\u00b0C<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\ud83e\uddc2 Si el ejercicio dura m\u00e1s de 1 hora, opta por\u00a0<strong>bebidas con electrolitos<\/strong>\u00a0para reponer minerales
